Meet Kim
Dedicated, Low-Capacity Boarding in Our Garden Reptile Hotel | Burwell, Cambridge.
“Reptile care isn’t just about feeding schedules—it’s about trust, precise parameters, and welfare-first attention.”
Hi, I’m Kim! Founder of Kim’s Reptile Retreat. My life has always revolved around animals, but my true passion lies in understanding the complex, quiet needs of reptiles.
As a reptile owner myself—sharing our home with Freda (Hermanns Tortoise), George (False Chameleon), Petri (Green Anole), Olive and Star (Casque Head Iguanas) and Wilbur (Bearded Dragon)—I know how difficult it is to find a pet sitter who actually understands husbandry. Reptiles aren’t like cats or dogs; a slight drop in temperature, the wrong UVB lighting, or improper humidity can impact their health quickly.
I created Kim’s Reptile Retreat after recognising a real need for knowledgeable, specialist reptile boarding in Cambridge—a place where your exotic pets receive expert care in a calm, home-from-home environment built specifically for them.
